Aren’t we lucky not to have these 3 chumps as selectors… They were going well 1-9 (I’d replace Beck with Shane Foley for size and abrasiveness) but the troubles are only beginning.
Philip McGuinness for McLoughlin.
Wayne Mac for Mr. Media at 11.
Mark Plunkett for Jimmy Guckian.
Conor Beirne replaces John McGuinness in the full forward line.

McCloskey and Shane Moran are breathing down Sweeney’s neck.
Pat Gilmartin is a tremendous selection. One less Mohill man as well. :pint:

Sentiment clearly don’t cut it hereabouts. Another more than worthy of mention from the club front is Adrian Croal from Manor. A top forward, that bad belt he got about 2’15 knocked a lot out of him, but he was a good as a couple of those who got the nod.

Typical anti-Manor bias at work again, they’ve only 4 selected…

Padraig McLoughlin was a good club player for me but not for long enough.

Ollie Honeyman looks the same today as he did then except about 35kg heavier.
Mickey Martin was a super forward, worth 5 Mulligan’s. 3 Quinn brothers, Jerome already formulating the Killer stare. I never trusted Ciaran Mahon despite him being a grand lad.
