Andy Moran by the sounds of things
I heard that yesterday alright.
I’m not sure what to make of this,I really hope it works out.Tbf every lad that wants to play county should be chomping at the bit to play now.We can have absolutely no excuse for fitness now cause if this fella can’t get them fit nobody will.Any chance he’d bring McDonald along with him.Liatroim Abu.
He has no experience but everyone has to start somewhere. He comes across as a very articulate and charismatic guy and was an inspirational footballer. Hopefully he brings all those qualities with him to his managerial career.

How did he do with Ballaghadereen this year? He was doing a bit with the Mayo U20s the last couple of year as well going off the podcast
Not great with Ballaghadereen as far as I know.
He wasn’t the manager though I think.

Underwhelmed just about covers it. I liked Moran as a player but he’s unproven in management.
Keeping all hands to the pump in Leitrim isn’t as easy as it should be and he’ll find this out himself.
We’ll might get a bit of a bounce but our ultimate aim to permanently escape D4 gets ever more difficult.
Kevin Walsh might have improved our concession stats while there’s no evidence that Moran will. I’d have been happier had the Politburo gotten Davis or O’Rourke but it is what it is. Nagging at the back of my mind is the vision of Moran getting us to an All-Ireland final only to collapse Mayo-esque….
I’m sure he’s a personable lad who can pull off the cheery wink and solemn face in a twinkling.

Where’s the idea coming from that he’ll get the team fit? He runs a gym - he’s not a GAA S&C and athletics expert.
Our lads haven’t been fit in years,he can’t be any worse than what went before.
