@anon67715551 would Wayne McKeon have football breeding in him?
Keith Beirne’s breeding would come on his uncle’s side, father to the Eslin Beirnes, who was a cracking footballer. Keith’s father played as well for Eslin but was more of a ‘thou shall not pass’ type corner back.
Also I noticed that the county board chairman’s nephew appeared on the list of Mohill subs last Sunday. He formerly played for Eslin but the relegation to junior last year seems to have pushed his father into action and pushed through a transfer possibly through the uncle.
He’s 31 but the rigours of 100+ cows and a couple of sprogs mitigate against an inter county return you’d imagine. I think he isn’t/wasn’t able to forgive the treatment from 2013 where some parties vilified him. Hi Emlyn…
He certainly gave an exhibition on Sunday, a great bit of stuff.
He’s the best player to come out of Leitrim in 20 years I think.

I couldn’t agree with this. For performance and longevity it’s hard to see past Paddy Maguire. There aren’t a whole pile of contenders outside of John Mac who’d be a solid contender as well.
