Leitrim Gaa 2022

He played very deep making good runs through the middle

He dropped back to replace Heslin thereby accommodating Prior up front.
Tisā€™ an interesting one, he had a stormer there by all accounts while the forwards continued to prosper in his absence from the front line.
Weā€™re raining forwards, itā€™s 3/4 backs we need. I remain unconvinced by Diffley and Caseyā€™s positioning though Casey played well according to Massey. Heā€™d make a mighty wing-back all the same. Coach Moran is indeed a visionary.

Caseyā€™s a great man to bomb forward, but that leaves a hole in the centre. One of the midfielders need to drop back when he does.Hes a lovely footballer.Cant see Ryan ever starting at wing back heā€™s too good up front but I can see him dropping back, his runs from deep in the second half did untold yesterday.

The young lad got a Leitrim jersey in the post today signed by the current squad,heā€™s as happy as Larry.

Jimmy is a deserving recipient of this award. Heā€™s been the driving force of the Drumreilly club for nearly half a century. The pitch was known oddly enough in my time as ā€œHolohanā€™s Bottomsā€ such was the boggy nature of it. It then became White Manā€™s Graveyard before the wonderful development finished in the last few years. They need to regain status sooner rather than later but the days of their greats (Maxwell and John Mac) are passed. Intermediate is a tough station and will remain so.

I know weā€™d lost a few from the Connacht championship winners (1994) but a fair scatter of those on the programme were lucky to see inter-county jersies.
Full steam ahead to the clash with London on Sunday. 9m V 30k but we never died a winter yet.

I donā€™t like the way a lot of folks are starting to concentrate on the Sligo game.

A terribly bad idea. Itā€™s a step by step process but that aside tā€™would be epic to snag the Magpies in their own nest. They couldnā€™t have become world beaters overnight. Plenty of banana skins before then though.

London have bate one of the worst teams in Div 4 and Waterford, weā€™re at home so should have enough to beat them.I can see us scoring a few goals Sunday. The O Rourkeā€™s to wreck havoc on their FB line.
