Leitrim GAA 2023

We’ll break the 12 points tonight. Things are looking up.
Just need to tighten up at the back a tad. Coach Moran working miracles despite being faced by the beaten All-Ireland finalists.

A 14 point defeat.

3-21 to 1-13

Aagh it’s wasn’t great stuff from us but it wasn’t terrible either, they were the all Ireland runners up last year at the end of the day even if it was a different team.
Got chatting to that O’Donnell fella in London last year, a nice fella, think he played in the forwards for us a few years back, why the position switch? Does he play goals for his club?

O Donnell plays for Shannon Gaels,he used to be a forward anyways.Hes has a lot of injuries. What about the Carrick goalie we’ve been hearing about is he injured?

No shame in that

It’s where we are atm.

Agreed, it wasn’t a complete hammering by the standards that most div 1 teams would do to us.
I feel that we would keep it tighter on a real pitch, ideally at home, but noone is goin to lose sleep over that result.

That won’t be anywhere near the team that starts again Waterford in 3 weeks

Meaningless. I’m pleased to see Cillian McGloin back in the frame. He’ll be there or thereabouts a starting place if he gets back to where he was.
Plenty of lads to come back into the reckoning for starting places.
No need to call for heads at this juncture - you have to trust the process.

Imagine that NY team would complete at christy ring, possibly Joe mcdonagh level with more games under their belt

Sorry??

NY hurlers. They overcame Leitrim today. Their status as a dual entity is rising daily.

Like London their players that played county/senior club hurling would be at a far higher standard than anything in lory meagher.
If they could keep players together and get into the leagues as well as championship they’d go far but the financials may be the issue.
Could make same argument for the ballers

NY will be looking to do the double over us this year.
