Leitrim Gaa 2026

Damian Lawlor wrote a book on Waterford footballers which pretty much told all there is to tell about such stories.

Did you read it?

Yes.

I thought it was excellent.

Dessie Foley is leading that pipe band surely 40 years at this stage.
FAO @farmerinthecity Fergal, Oisín and Colm are Killian’s lads.
Eoin is TP’s lad.

It was indeed. And it’s even gotten worse since the gulf between some and the requirement to even keep up let alone bridge it

Not grass licked it etc.

I hate to be a moaning Michael after a good weekend for Leitrim football but our minors got hammered by NY in the tier 3 all Ireland qualifier, thank God the seniors are giving us something to shout about as our minor and 20s teams have had a stinker this year, 0 from 0 in everything

A nice gesture from Poacher and Co

Typical stunt that the County Board will have blessed with their imprimatur. A championship victory and a creditable performance and we’re a commodity as valuable as peak KK, LK, KY or whomever.

This guy is playing them like a fiddle. The players have bought in and now they’re opening up the gates to a carnival situation….Out!

Think of the childer will ye tut tut

No Barry :weary:

Ill believe it when i see it,let me get onto the brother.

Coach Poach has had us well drilled for our 2 biggest games again Mayo last year and Galway this year and although we lost both the games were very respectful results.Im sure he has a plan for tomorrow night. He doesnt seem to get much appreciation online but the players seem totally bought in and thats a great thing.I would be a lot more confident if we were at home but i doubt Down will take us lightly tomorrow and will try to bury us as soon as they can.

On another note going forward,id say a lot of our lads opted out last year because he was coming in and he had a reputation and that made it easy enough to call it a day.If we have a decent run in the TC i wonder would some be tempted back seeing how this team seem to really being enjoying their football under him.Adding Pearce Darragh Rooney Mark Plunkett Paul Keaney would give us a huge boost around the middle of the park.

@farmerinthecity will enjoy this
