Leo Varadkar

Why did he resign?

Very slow with the applause

Has no more to give.

Say what you like about leo, but he had far too much arrogance, self-belief and narcissism to go bowing and scraping to anyone. Which made him great at handling the brits.

He did that to impress his European masters no other reason.

I’d say there’s a lot more to this story yet to come out

Perhaps, but i genuinely think he looks down his nose at everyone…except maybe the likes of macron or trudeau

That’s unfair.

He stuck it to the Brits and the DUP. Upheld the Good Friday Agreement when they thought that Paddy would roll over. He was widely praised by Sinn Fein for his actions.

But housing and health were massive failures.

He had a tendency to come out with needlessly confrontational statements but other than that I had no major dislikeness towards him.

In talks with the FAI for the ultimate leadership role.

His legacy to this state was to make Sinn Fein electable. No matter how’s it spun. When he took office they were a fringe party.

Yeah - six years is a long time in politics.

Klaus Schwab is his master

Like Jacinta Aherne?

He never thanked the partner in the going away speech.

He didn’t thank his family or anyone else really apart from Micheál Martin and Eamon Ryan.

Paddys back will be raw from himself patting himself on the back for this

Very easy to find be a leader when you are backed to the hilt by the US and EU as he was. Michel Barnier told him what to say when he met Boris.
