In saying that, plenty of nurses do contribute to the state of the healthcare service in their attitude. I wouldnât pretend to know how to fix everything, but Iâve seen first hand on numerous occasions behaviour from some healthcare staff that is totally unacceptable.
I know well from relatives and seeing them work that it is far from an easy job, but that doesnât excuse some very basic things youâll see on wards if you spend any length of time with relatives.
Thatâs aside from some of the work practices that unions wonât budge on.
True. Part of the overall shite state the health system is in I think. Hard to elicit a positive disposition from staff when they donât feel supported or valued and work in a shit hole where every day must feel like the whole thing is just getting worse.
