Limerick GAA - All-Ireland senior hurling champions 2018

A win for Tipp and a win for us on Sunday guarantees us a munster final place but doesn’t guarantee Cork one, as if Clare and Waterford win on the last day then Clare, Tipp and Cork will all be level and it goes to scoring difference.
Clare cannot be mathematically eliminated on Sunday

There was a cracking carvery in premium level for the roasters. Beef, gammon or lasagne.

The carvery in Croke Park is always good too

Is Cusack Park flare friendly?

You’re on the watchlist now :eyes:

I’m hoping to be off it before the week is out

You get fantastic grub at most American stadiums

In that case Tipp could be in trouble as they are currently on -6 and cork and clare are on +5 and +4, Tipp would need to beat clare by a gaggle of points to win a 3-way scoring difference

It’s tight enough in Munster.

People on about Limerick’s defence.
48 against over 2 games compared to the others is not bad.

it was due to a fuck up/circumstances.

I was to go for something to eat on the way in and a series of unfortunate events led to me not being able to and hence ateing the muck masquerading as food in there

Fair enough .

We defended superbly against Tipp, and in the second half against Cork.

We have been giving away some very soft frees though, and I would say that at least 2 of the 3 goals conceded were very sloppy. Just players switching off for a couple of seconds, can be so costly in Championship.

Improve on those and we’ll be even harder to beat than we already are.

yeah, a lot of scores have been given away by error. Nickie had one brain fart the last day and Finn had a few against Cork. It seems to be very hard to find the space to shoot without pressure against that defense. Hickey with his fair few frees the first day as well.

I hope Hannon is alright, he is one of the best centre backs I’ve ever seen to read a game. He is invariably there to mop up behind the half back line. And is our main platform for delivering ball into the full line, he is hugely important to our success this year.

Jaysus you’d swear @anon32894817 was Seamus Flanagans father the way he goes on! Every Limerick GAA man took satisfaction in his performance! He ran amok. You don’t have ownership on satisfaction levels in Flanagan’s performances!

I was the founding member of the fan club.

I’ve given it a like and had a chuckle.

Limerick hurling update:

  • Declan Hannon back in training after “tummy bug” which hit panel in days ahead of Cork game
  • No Aaron Gillane red card appeal
  • Peter Casey an option to face Waterford in Munster SHC on Sunday.
