Fair! Though itās good to know there are players in decent form ready to come in.
Boom
Tom wears an ash guard on each hand to prevent serious injury from such reckless behaviour.
Unless you witness the training sessions yourself you can fuck right off.
At this stage If you were to go by the second, third and fourth hand accounts I have heard we should buy a hotel in Dublin because we will be up there for the next 10 years.
I can only imagine thereās absolutley shag all trainning going on at the moment. Rest and recovery, a bit of shooting and tactics. How anybody can be flying in trainning at the moment it is beyond me. Lads had a chance to stake a claim for a jersey post tipp in the league right up to tipp in the championship. That was the time to be flying in trainning. Thankfully we have 18 or 19 lads flying on the field of play now. Where it counts.
like this?

no ash guard would prevent a broken finger from a belt like that
Weāve won two matches. As true Limerick fans we should be absolutely getting carried away.
weāve won one and drawn oneā¦ the draw is keeping the feet firmly on the ground.
You obviously are.
we won one match
Weāve won one game.
One win and one moral victory. Limerick will dominate hurling for the next decade.
When you say shots against, you mean a shot taken by someone that person is marking?
No he is talking about Tequilla.
you just mark the opposition shot and the player who took it. so you mark on the ipad where on the field the shot came from and who took it.
then youād say to the talkie walkieā¦ number 12 has 5 shots in the first 12 minutes. 3 scores. whatever. Youād be asked for an update roughly every 12 minutes.
sometimes thereād be targets set for each 12 minutes. we need to have x amount of shots in 12 minutes from scoring zones etc etc
Interesting. Did you have an app you used?
Those kind of stats would be fairly easy to gather, although Iām not sure how flexible you can make the types of data you are gathering. Iāve looked at some of the apps available before and they seem fairly clunky. I get a feeling overall that they would probably just re-enforce opinions that the selectors would have a feel for themselves anyways from the sideline.
Iād be surprised if the individual player monitoring stats, e.g., heart-rate, GPS location, velocity, distance canāt be transmitted in a real-time, or near real-time basis, but itās entirely possible that management donāt have the means to receive, or view these in real-time at the moment.
Combining the two post-match is probably where you would get the most intriguing insights, e.g., where on the pitch a player does most work, how long before they get fully involved. You can, of course, also end up with an impenetrable ball of raw data that doesnāt reveal any secrets. Mr. Kiely, if youāre reading, get in touch and we can talk KPIs.
Well thatās why you have a stats team. They are not only there to input data but to analyse and present it.
I suppose you have to trust them too. By the all accounts, the Limerick stats team are very good.
Just to clarify I didnāt say it wasnāt possible to have this info in real-time. I said Iām informed that this info isnāt something Kiely has to hand or influences subs.
this one.
thatās what real time is you spastic
