Canāt understand people saying Mulcahy needs it handed to him on a plate. He wins ball he has no right to win and will take a belt to do so. The big question mark is around his ability to put the head down and go for the jugular, and whether he is too light to do so. He has been impressive when introduced this spring and the space and movement in the current setup up front will suit him. Iām glad to see him get the nod.

One final point on the whole no Na Piarsaigh players thingā¦apparently it is very evident that the Na Piarsaigh players are not at the same level of fitness as the rest are. Limerick are very fit and unfortunately, and not surprisingly I suppose, the Na Piarsaigh players while being in decent nick are not near as fit as the rest. Just something to keep in mind when you look at what Kiely demands from the players and how weāve been playing

Yep thereās no airs or graces about either of them. They just get on with it. I heard a story (not sure if itās true tbf) about kyler after his second or third training with seniors when he was only 18 and he landed a senior panel member on his arse and a few jaws dropped. Said senior panelist wasnāt enamored by his boldness

Remember John kiely has years of coaching experience under his belt and he sees these guys three or four times a week so trust him.

What do I want a spotters badge? Letās see how things go on Sunday unlike you I donāt go into first 15s and if youād be bothered I said back after the Galway game that the NaP lads would be up against it forcing themselves in to the first 15. i also said it was going to be a panel effor. I donāt have a chip on my shoulder like you do against a successful club team. That is irrelevant l want Limerick to win an All Ireland more so than my club ever winning one again so donāt give me any more BS about me wanting Byrnes Flanagan other lads dropped etc for Nap players.
