Gillanes point on 59 minutes was absolutely glorious.
I havent stopped crying all day.
This group of young lads are beautiful in every way - they have loads to learn and improve on but they never, ever give up. How many games this year have they looked beaten only to claw their way back into it? And not by hip and whip either but by smart, composed hurling. If we can improve our shooting accuracy even slightly we will be putting up big numbers ā¦ This can be worked on tho - we have the raw ingredients all over the field and the spirit of the team is just immense. Finn and English are a fucking joy to watch - not two fucks do they give.
Gonna be a step up again the next day tho ā we got a break today in that the game probably came a little early for some of Tippās bigger players and they were way off form today. The speed and intensity of the second game looked up on our one on a much bigger pitch we will need to up it from today ā Cork could be down a few players by then tho with another big day out against Tipp next week.
Lots of people lauding Quaid ā Iām not knocking him but I thought at least 4 puck -outs went out over the side line?
Finn and English are beautiful men.
Lots more to come from Lynch who took a couple of big scores but was in and out of it.
Hego is a power house - just needs a bit more belief when running in on goal ā hope the groin injury was minor.
Lotās more to come from Hayes but his work rate was unreal.
Get Peter Casey back and the other NaP lads pushing for a start in training and weāve a great shot at a semi final this year ---- Lotās of potential but the team have to learn from today and drive on.
Kinnerk has these lads humming, Iād say heās due a lot of credit
He is not a giant but he is brilliant in the air. Every time it goes in high to him you expect him to win it. Made two or three outrageous high catches that led to scores from play or pointed frees. He seems to tire physically late in games but hopefully that extra fitness will come in time.
Interesting to see what way we set up personnel wise for the inside line when Casey returns. 2 from Mul, Gillane and Caseyā¦
Weāve a bit of depth now, thankfully,
Pete Casey wonāt be back from injury for cork Iām told.
Donal o Grady is a tipp apologist.
Weāve depth from midfield up no doubt but Iām a bit worried about the backs we donāt have a huge amount of options if key men like Byrnes or Hannon got injured
I havenāt watched it back, but I think you have to be ruthless. Full-back is not a position you can fuck around with. Forde isnāt blessed with massive pace and was never going to run rings around Hickey but he still didnāt cope all that well. I wouldnāt discard him, but Iād be willing to give Casey a shot against Cork.
What a pile of scutter on an otherwise entertaining thread. Go away.
The man talking
I think if kiely was going to drop him heād have been subbed at halftime. I reckon heāll start him v cork.
What a great victory, just in the door. Great day to be a Limerick man.
Our lads did us proud. Minors won as did the primary team. Great great day.
Luimneach Abu.
Are you still here. No spine to have a bet financially and no spine to get the fcuk out of here.
Niall Quinn, Michael Lowry, Una Healy from The Saturdayās, Andrew Lloyd Webber, Babs Keating, Bulmers Cider, Lar Corbett, Shane Long, that gowl Jackie Cahill, John Leahy, Coolmore Stud, that pair of cunts The 2 Johnnies, can you hear me you pair of cuntsā¦
A spineless cunt
I canāt recall any wager
Do you have a record of it ?
Disagree, now is the time.Much as Seamie is loved , time for Peter Casey
IAre you taking some kind of hallucinogenic mushrooms ???
Peter is a corner forward. Michael Casey is a full or corner back.
Iām more talking from kielys POV. He didnāt sub him at halftime and he was much better after halftime so itās unlikely heāll be dropped.
