They were 7 points up against Ballybrown with less than 10 minutes to play in the first game.
A Ballybrown player got a serious injury, the match was abandoned and had to be replayed last night. Where they lost by 4.
A 7-point lead is not a certain victory but itâs not a bad place to be in with not long to go. If they had been given the win, theyâd have finished 2nd and Ballybrown 4th.
Ah ya, thatâs sick enough alright. The Well seem to be very strong for that level.

They have a strong team alright, I suppose their senior have only had two matches to burn players and theyâve played 6 Championship matches at junior level.
They have Jason Gillane, Andrew & Calvin Carroll, David Woulfe⌠Few others who would be there or thereabouts for their seniors.
Kilmallock will be very strong come knockout stages too
