Tis harder to not go through to the County stages sure ffs. The whole restructuring of the championship was an exercise in making it more and more difficult for the West Board to continue to resist it going all County, at the expense of common sense. It was Killeedy who proposed the 3rd qualifier out of each division to contest the County because the cunts canāt get past the West Semis themselves
Iād fancy them over Patrickswell, and Doon should be decent aswell.
But as I said, I hope none of them win and one of the West teams or Caherline or someone do it.

Weāre training as if the match is on but itās hard to get the mindset right. Very hard to get in āChampionship modeā when you donāt really know when youāre out again.
I would presume if Limerick win, Championship will be off until at least two weekends after the All-Ireland, but you never know.
Moving the calendar forward this year should allow them a bit of space to work with I suppose, but the Limerick fixture list isnāt designed for Limerick doing well

Theyāve us down to play senior football vs Pats the Tuesday after the AI semi meaning Hegarty would have to tog again Tuesday night if he wants to play for them (and thatās the whole reason itās being moved to Tuesday so I presume he does).
Some of our lads will have played 2 hurling championship & one football championship game in less than a week after tonight. Training all year and the whole thing could be gone up in smoke after a week of running lads into the ground

Canāt see Kiely being happy with that. While theyāve released subs & extended panel members all year, I canāt see how Hegarty playing Championship football 48 hours after running himself into the ground against Cork is ideal recovery with an All-Ireland in sight.
But yeah, if we all want to have a few weeks drinking when we win Liam, I suppose we have to make a few sacrifices on the way.
