Limerick GAA - All-Ireland senior hurling champions 2018

Talk that Bruree have got their house in order.

Got hammered in their first two Championship matches, but have got players back and by all accounts are going much better. Won’t be a pushover.

Askeaton missing first choice midfielder, centre forward and full forward and still strolling through games. Mad stuff.

Willie and Danny were excellent. Ground it out.

Where was Willie O’Meara playing? Were Croagh off form, they were impressive against Templeglantine and Monagea

We never feared Croagh sure

WOM was all over

I actually thought he was quiet enough by his standards! Got the scores in the first half when needed but was subdued enough generally I felt.

That Whelan lad in the full forward line was lovely while the number four held things together at the other end.

Centre forward. The Croagh centre back (Mc something) did well on him but he still slipped in for the game deciding goal. Gave them a cushion they would never relinquish.

Croagh must despair at the loss of Dec Hannon and Brendan O’Connor…

Wasn’t Declan always with Adare? His father Joe hurled Croagh all his life alright.

Ah he was, always nice getting a rise out of my Adare pals over it though. They don’t like it one bit.

I’d be friends with a few of them, my cousin is on their senior team. I’ve taken to calling them Western Gaels.

Willie Griffin always gets a mention too.

EDIT - Joe is a sound bloke.

Kildimo pallaskenry v adare wouldn’t be a straightforward game for adare. Be one of the bigger club games in limerick if they were drawn against each other.

Adare is nearly a football club at this stage.

Declan hurled with Croagh till about u-14 they stole another Croagh lad there recently as well

Some man to strike a ball though. We don’t use him as well as we could really. The lads missing would take a lot of pressure off him, as it is we are very reliant on him and other teams can single him out

He was the only player on the field who would have buried that goal chance. As soon as he got the pass into his lamh you knew he’d rattle the net.

C/K had a few similar situations but lacked that bit of class to finish them.

He’s a complete ringer at this level. No one has a weapon like him

Like Seamus O’Carroll when he was with Cappagh.

They beat us one year in football something like 3-12 to 2-10 and he scored about 3-10, mostly from play. Ridiculous.

Ye could go all the way at this stage, is it Templeglantine ye meet next in the Semi or is that dependent on the result of Feenagh v Killeedy?

Will ye’re injured lads be back for it, there’s talks the Semis will be Saturday/Sunday week

Depends when they’re on but two of them definitely not
