Look who decided to show upā¦
Iām still in cunting Dublin
Hickey was brilliant when he came on too. Heās gotten a very raw deal this year. Barring an injury he probably wonāt make an appearance in the final. After everything he has given to Limerick hurling Iām glad he had a chance to redeem himself and contribute. A warrior.
Fuck it kid. Go hide under a seat in the Hogan for 3 weeks
I wonāt. Iād have to watch a football match probably. Couldnāt be doing that.
Lads, cork are sound. They stayed and drank pints last night.
Casey absolutely sold the ref and the cork lad hook, line and sink her for that free at the end under the hogan stand
I havenāt watched it back yet but I had the feeling at it that we didnāt really perform yesterday. A few lads didnāt have their best days, itās some going to bate cork and not be at your best.
I thought game plan wise it was very poor. We didnāt impose our style on the game yesterday just so much character and ridiculous impact from the bench.
I think we should have pushed up on OāDonighue who was getting all the short puck out. Bar Harnedy they had nothing aerially.
My nerves are still shot to pieces donāt know I will endure the finalš
Duignan moaning on about frees for cork again
All young lads have the same haircut these days
Had work this morning at 6am, Iāve been sick three times and am barely able to function.
Totally worth it
Back to club.
The leader article has a round of football for 26th August and a round of hurling for 2nd September.
That then leaves back games in football and 4 rounds of premier inter hurling still to be played in September before knockout game will take place.
Hurling finals were scheduled for weekend 14th October and football for weekend 21st October.
Munster club fixtures have our intermediate hurling side out on 28th October and the remaining senior & intermediate sides out the following weekend.
There is no scope for replays, rest weeks or dual clubs there. Expect a lot of midweek games and hard decisions.
Limerick should just pull out of the munster club championship or else play games without senior panellists.
I thought Limerick played fairly well, but can obviously play better. They have a real steeliness about them though and are very hard to put away. This was apparent as far back as the league with the comeback in Galway and how they wouldnāt just go away during the league semi-final which went to extra time. Same ability to dig in and refusal to buckle continued into the championship when going down to 14 against Cork, no panic when Richie Hogan scored the goal for Kilkenny and yesterday was the same kind of determination and composure under pressure. I never doubted this squad or management.
