Well the atmosphere went up a notch after Cian’s goal I jumped up roared into some Cork roaster behind me (later apologised!) and then realised my sunglasses were in pieces on the ground. Had 3 pints beforehand but had no interest once the match started as I was too wound up. In fairness vast majority watched the game unlike the procession of pint drinkers in and out in the Aviva or Thomond Park.

Heard Eddie Brennan the other evening saying he used to take an order from family etc and say cut off is x days time and you can fook away off after that

I’m sure JK and Spike have already worked out how many tickets each panel member and backroom member will receive. This would already have been conveyed back to the players. Get all that housekeeping shit out of the way this week - promise your five or six immediate family members or whoever and then tell everyone else to fuck off if they’ve the brass neck to come cap in hand.

I’ve decided to embrace the hype. For long enough I’ve been looking at other counties being excited at getting to an All-Ireland final. Going to enjoy the next few weeks.

Will pick up a car flag at some stage this week.
