Limerick GAA - Box Office

The legion of Clare and Tipp lads might go somewhere else and leave our schools alone.

He’s the new Mark Foley, bombing the ball as far as he can.

At least Mark Foley wasn’t trying to score all the time.

Any direction at all would do

Whack it?

The whacker Byrnes

No, he was just trying to hit the clouds above him most of the time…

Has a nice ring to it alright, did his bid for captaincy no harm last night anyway.

Mark was just interested in the height really.

Someone else’s problem then.
Limerick lads are gas. Talking up some young lad as the next mick mackey. One bad game and myriad flaws are suddenly found.
They are all trying their best.

Team I’d go with for Wexford park would be -

N Quaid
M Casey
R Mcarthy
R English
D Byrnes
G Hegarty
C Ryan
J Ryan
R Lynch
D Hannon
B Nash
D Dempsey
C Lynch
S Dowling
T Morrisey

Colin Ryan is good in the air for his size but not physically strong enough for modern day Senior Inter County Half Back

Be no harm giving him a go…we know what Gavin can do at 7…maybe he’d be better suited in the forwards given his height but Id def start him there to see how he goes.

Plenty of options across the team on paper at least this year…huge transition tho.

Go on to fuck so, seeing as ye are all naming teams for the Wexicans…(says he who has been waiting patiently for the first team to be put up  :pint:

  1. Nicky Quaid
  2. Seanie O’Brien
  3. Richie McCarthy
  4. Richie English
  5. Diarmaid Byrnes
  6. Declan Hannon
  7. Gearóid Hegarty
  8. Paul Browne
  9. James Ryan
  10. Tom Morrissey
  11. Shane Dowling
  12. David Dempsey
  13. Cian Lynch
  14. Barry Nash
  15. Peter Casey

Strong bench to pick from with Condon, Hickey, Gavin, Casey, Cahill for the backs. Midfield options John Fitz, Pat Ryan, Darragh O’Donovan. Forwards from Ronan Lynch, Colin Ryan, Sean Tobin, Graeme Mulcahy, Kevin O’Brien

Does anyone here understand that you need two, ideally three ballwinning target men in the hf line?

Have we even got one?

Richie McCarthy to centre forward.

After Nash scored the second goal the ref went in and yellow carded him. I saw no foul and the goal stood. Anyone know why he was carded and what it was about?

Blowing a lad up and then cutting him down to size early on never did any harm. It’s the Limerick way.

Mike Casey is a grand hurler but isn’t related to an inter county corner back he has neither the pace or the cut in him to make it. Sean O B, Condon, Hickey and Finn are ahead of him. English is streets better than any of them.
