Giving it one more year

I was at the game. No offence but bar the 2 lively half forwards it’s basically the same team that has failed at the semi/quarter stage for the last decade. Drom would have beaten ye if they had taken their chances in the first half. Plus the set up of their team was shocking!!! Their 2 county lads in the full back line 10 min into the second half, ye couldn’t have asked for much more!!

Kilmallock are up by two goals against Na Piarsaigh in the U-21 hurling. About 15 mins gone.

Oisín O’Reilly & Killian Hayes with the goals.

They’re up by 6 at half-time, but had been up by 9, NaP scored the last three points of the half to just about keep them in touch going into the second half.

Fine game in Mick Neville Park.

Oisin O’Reilly wreaking havoc in at full forward, scored one goal and set up the other. Houla junior with a couple of sweet scores. Na P facing into a decent breeze in the second half too.

Are both sides at full-strength? All county players available?

Bringing Na Piarsaigh out to Rathkeale is a noble social experiment by the county board.

Both sides at full strength afaik.

P Casey pretty well shackled so far. Enjoyable match, Jason Mullins is a very good ref. One of the best in the county. I think he took charge of Clare - Waterford in minor during the week.

Kilmallock straight red card.

2-10 to 0-10.

2-14 to 1-16. About ten mins left.

Cracking contest.

Extra time.

They’ll know how to get as far as Adare and god help them from there.

Na Piarsaigh win by 4 AET.

When the game was in the melting pot Casey made the difference.

Great game, sickener for Kilmallock - they’d have won but for the red card.
