Shane O’Donnell was v sharp in the first half…took his first goal v well…was poor defending from Limerick though…M Casey was caught out watching the flight of the ball rather than his marker.
His second goal was even worse from a Limerick point of view as he should have been brought down.
R English fouled him once or twice in the second half…but he didnt add to his 2-2 from play.
That was quick. Only 25 hours after the match. We usually don’t see our way to delusional thoughts until a Thursday after a match.

Dunno if Mouse is messing or not but as a neutral with a local interest in Limerick I thought they did a lot right yesterday and I do t think they were far away at all.
Hayes had a very good second half but he was a disaster early on and everything they did broke down at him, poor decision making when shooting from 80 yards can be worked on and two Clare goals had a big slice of luck with the no mans land position that the deliveries landed which caused confusion, genuinely if they played again next week I would make Clare very slight favourites.

He didn’t the Lk half back line obliterated Clare that night . SOD was feeding off scraps .
Quaid didn’t cover himself In glory for the first goal but It was criminal by casey to let o donnell walk past him for the goal. He was jogging while watching the ball drop in. I said January I didn’t think he’d be good enough. He’s a lovely hurler but he lacks that bit of savageness you need to be a cornerback at the highest level. A filty cunt. English and Finn have it.
