Bunratty would be a lovely setting for a Limerick photograph, a lot more humble than JP’s Manor
No I’d have them do it in the Gaelic Grounds like every other team. What were they charging Again for these photos?
150 is the going rate usually. You’d want to be a fierce oddball to buy one for your house if you had no personal connection to the panel
Jp charged 300 quid.
Sure it’s a fundraising initiative really. I’d much rather give 300 to the local club however
Fundraising for a trip to a paradise resort where the cheapest room is 1200 a night.
is the room free or does someone from county board have to pay for it?
JP is some man. Our stunning 2018 success was down to the setting up of the Academy and the professional manner in which it is run, all funded by the McManus brothers.
If Limerick can find it within themselves to get this year’s team photo taken on the green area beside the Maldron in Roxboro they will win the 2020 AI at a canter.
Here are you absolutely certain about this? Because I’m going to kick the fucking door off the hinges in Lyons’s tomorrow demanding my range rovers… yes rovers… And I working my bollix off paying back the loan on my oul banger.
Rovers for life
Lads, what counties have had their team photos in county grounds? I think Clare had one of theirs in Flannans, did Tipp have one in Cashel or somewhere? What counties line up in the middle of their county ground for them?
The dubs get theirs taken in their home ground in parnell Park…

Very understated, I’d expect nothing less of Jim.
How many all irelands are Dublin going for this decade?
I should have added football doesn’t count in this case, we’re talking hurling counties.
Would expect Feenagh & Kilmallock to top group one. Castletown flying in the league and gave us an unmerciful hiding. Kieran’s were woeful last year. Not sure if they’ll be any better this year, they’ve Adare in the first game which is very winnable and may be they might pick up some momentum from there, but you’d prefer to meet Adare later in the championship by which time they’ll probably have pulled out. I haven’t a clue where we are to be honest. Team only starting to come together now an…
Groups of the Super West finished up last weekend.
As predicted Feenagh & Kilmallock advanced from group 1 but both finished behind Castletown who have continued their strong league form.
To be honest even though all three beat us, I wasn’t overly impressed by any of the three. Castletown the pick of the bunch but all three very beatable.
As predicted Adare pulled out of the championship again. Although they went to new lows this year giving a walkover in the first & last games. They should fuck off down junior b out of the way or be forced down junior b whichever comes first.
Group B also went as predicted with Kileedy strolling it, Croagh qualifying and Monagea emerging from the rest beating Croagh in the last round to finish in second. Croagh were already through so not sure what kind of a team they put out.
Kileedy are streets ahead of the rest. Croagh the only team that managed to give them a game. It’s theirs to lose now.
QF’s are
Feenagh v Croagh
Monagea v Kilmallock
With Kileedy & Castletown waiting in semi’s
Quarter finals are complete toss ups now. Kilmallock are supposed to have a few lads away on J1s so if they come back it could make all the difference. I’ll go Croagh & kilmallock on that basis but wouldn’t be surprised by any result.
As I said Kileedy’s to lose now, more importantly for them they are guaranteed a County QF now as all 4 west semi finalists go onto county. They can afford to leave the West behind after winning it last year, but they really need to get out of junior A while their age profile is good.
Hard to know the quality on the other sides. The Well & Christians are supposed to be decent and Doon were reasonable last year.
And why is our team holiday in October? Likely players will now miss club championship over this circus. Don’t all counties go over the new year/January? Jp must be some cunt.
