Being from Galway, youāll know how much a proper manager makes a difference mate, obviously id love to be proven wrong, but I do fear the worst for Limerick.
Iāll say one thing though, I donāt see the need to play Cian Lynch AGAIN this week against Kerry, could they not give Reidy a start there after calling him in, pretty pointless playing Lynch in these games
You donāt know you have a good one really until you win something.
I didnāt doubt o Donoghue for a second.
Any manager, once appointed, bar disaster, should be given three years of peace to try and make a side competitive and settled. O Donoghue did that in his first year. Winning anything, any year, especially with tipp there or thereabouts, is a bonus.
What is this love fest you have with Tipp?
Galway never feared Tipp
Limerick never feared Tipp
For the past 50 years Tipp are essentially at the same level as Galway, Clare and Offaly.
You need to keep a mix of established and new lads for these games otherwise you learn nothing about the newer lads.
Similarly but less spectacularly there was plenty calling for Kingstonās head after his first year but he had a very good second year, Kieky or anybody else will need time, I think heās as good as whatās there in the county
Thereās no need to bring Corkās misfortune into this.
Two giants of hurling in the doldrums, I thought the Limerick lads would appreciate the comparison, thereās none between Lk and Galway as far as playing personnel goes
Preciously. Kiely threw a load of lads under the bus v cork last year in one of these mickymouse games. Playing a total makeshift team. If your giving Willie o meara a chance play him longside hannon and Byrnes infront Of Condon. Trialing English is longover due but only makes sense if its with hannon and quaid infront and behind him.
Drom are back training for the football. From what Iāve heard theyāve a strength and conditioning coach that has had experience working with Super League sides in the U.K. as well as Connacht rugby.
Early enough but with the first round of Championship in early April most teams will be back in the next few weeks
Limerick really should start to fear Tipp, it might help them a little
Davy in 2019
Never!
Davy will sort ye out
If both Clare and Limerick win this weekend will the final be moved forward to next weekends fixture?
It will
Why use a 50 year period, in the last 10 years Tipp have been streets ahead Clare and Offaly and a level above Galway for most of that period.
For the last 7 months Galway have been a level above Tipp.
For the past 60 years Tipp are way ahead of Galway, Clare and Offaly.
Over the past 100 years Clare and Offaly have been consistently fucking useless and Galway not much better.
