There must be forty now. O’Connell, Lyons & O’Meara weren’t on the original 38 AFAIK.

I don’t think anybody is being harsh on him. Him alongside hannon would be carnage. He should be played in the forwards for a year or two and they maybe come back to it. Can you imagine what a Bonnar maher or somebody would do to him. Limerick need two stopppers either side of hannon. Lynch maybe as a sweeper but that role probably suits hannon better too.

What Kiely needs to do is build the spine of the team. 3,6,8,9,11 and 14. Bar hannon at 6 you wouldn’t put your life in anybody starting in those positions. Would hannon make it at 6 for any last years all Ireland semi finalists? This is the big problem for limerick. The lack of a spine kills the skilful types your cian lynch, barry Nash, Ronan lynch etc. Kiely needs to get this right early days if liemrick are to go anywhere this year.

Yep mc barely 21s last year. He’s doing veterinary in Ucd. I doubt he’ll ever play senior Tbh.
