In fairness to the current manager he has has had to deal with a heap of senior players retiring at the same time. There is a bit of a gap but there are some promising under age players coming.

The problem is that weāve had very competitive u-21 teams and players for the last three years but most of them are either playing hurling or couldnāt be bothered playing football as we are so uncompetitive at the moment - and will be for the forseeable futureā¦
