God no but folk need to be realistic too. Galway were utterly gassed after 40 mins.
Still dispossessed a lot but he went through a pile of ball. Midfield suits him down to the ground

Iām hearing the Gaelic grounds is the venue next Sunday.
His half backs need to push on a give him an option for a hand pass.
Byrnes still wasting an awful amount of ball. On a day when our full forward line weāre giving the Galway backs a serious beating it was very very stupid hurling.

Limerick well worth the win. I thought theyād win before the game, but Iām pissed off now at the galway capitulation. I disagree that both teams wanted to win equally. Galway wanted it alright, but limerick wanted it more.
Itās an odd result in a raggy enough game in that it might just suit both teams.
Galway may have just soaked up a bit too much adulation. Time will tell. At half time I thought that galway were starting to have the makings of a hurling stronghold. Now I reckon itās back to the same ole story. The truth is probably in the middle.

The resources are there in the full back line and in the forwards, as of now the half back line is a worry. Hickey is needed back there and Hayes might even have to shift back as an emergency measure. Iām not 100% sure on the midfield pairing yet but the hard ground will suit them a lot more.
Absolutely. McCarthy is our full back.and anyone that says otherwise needs to fall in.
I wouldnāt be reading too much into that result tbh, great to get promoted and that is all that matters.
But, Galway completely tanked in the final 20 minutes.
Limerick still hit far too many wides.
There doesnāt look a definite goal threat in the team against better defenses.
Half back line seem to lack a bit of pace & physicality.
Hurling in Div 1A will improve that panel no end, but unless management cop on you would feel this talented crop may struggle to reach their true potential.

Still gaps on the wings in half back line, and half forward line, was Hegarty injured? Think midfield will be as is and possibly the full back line and full forward line as well
Gillane done very well too.
Different level alright Galway will be strong in 1b next year.
