Sensible. Makes sense to allow the people of limerick to see the 2nd game as well
I donât think we can start Byrnes and Hickey in the same half-back line and then be surprised that our forwards are getting shit ball.
I think Iâd play Hegarty & Kyle on the wings with Morrissey/Dempsey/Murphy/DOD at centre-forward. I think Iâd favour OâDonovan right now.
The bookmakers make Tipp 3 Point favs
I think that is fair enough. If we shoot like we did against Galway and Clare they will cover it handy. I just worry about our half forwards ability to score. I take it we will have Hegarty, Hayes and Morrissey there Saturday. Cian Lynch and Colin Ryan will need to chip in with 3/4 scores. Ryan has to start after watching Browne the last two days.
Wexford-Kilkenny already confirmed for 4pm. As @gilgamboa alluded to, Limerick are seeking a 6pm or 7pm start in their game.
I wouldnt have posted it only I was sure of my sources pal. Thanks for confirming. Pleading rather than seeking was the description I heard
Twill be along day in Thurles if itâs on at 7!
Extra time if required?
3.15pm throw in next Saturday in Thurles hopefully.
Itâll be a 6pm throw-in, pal.
Will start and finish in daylight, although they might have to switch the floodlights on for the free-taking competition.
EDIT - @Bandage will be pleased to know that the game will be televised As BĂ©arla on Eir Sport.
Thatâs going along the right lines alright. The 6 backs that seem to be preferred at the moment are a serious worry and Iâm not sure the unit will be sorted out in time. We donât have an obvious midfield partner for Lynch, our best hope is still that Browne regains form. A lot remains to be seen with the forwards yet. I think kiely has done a great job this season so far with the players he has had available.
We have players to make changes and the right ones need to be made. Hickey at full back, Browne and both Morrisseyâs are not good enough to start. Change those and we can go far.
Tom Morrissey has probably been our best player so far this year, puts in a huge shift every day. Gets through an amount of donkey work.
Canât drop him at the moment.
Into Hayesâ Hotel to watch the minor match (Wexford - Kilkenny) on tv so.
Bowes for the rest of us.
You would be better off bringing your own cans to hayesâ with the bar service there
Hayes ties in with the roaster carvery.
The County Bar was decent the couple times Iâve been there
Bowes for me. Although Iâll be driving son it wonât matter a fuck
Is Bowes the first pub you meet as you leave the train station?
Yup. Look straight ahead as you leave the station
