No. Clearly not.

I doubt @Rocko wants calls from the mothers of the under 14 hurling team giving out.

Mungret vs Blackrock has just thrown in. Loser probably ends up in the relegation play-off vs Effin.

Dylan Dawson is back and in form for Blackrock, I think they’ll do it.

Agreed, Galway were tiny bar Whelan in comparison to them. A wins a win but thought they were average enough on the night.

At minor level they were mixing it with the back bone of the Waterford side that play in an Ireland Sunday week.

Can we not just enjoy the fact that one of our intercounty teams is hurling into September without all the self-flagellation?

Mungret up by 2 last I heard.

(1st half,28 min) Blackrock 0-9 Mungret St Pauls 1-6

Blackrock 1-9 Mungret 1-7 (HT) Marty Farrell goal for Blackrock

Marty Farrell and Paul O’Brien with the goals.

Despite having so many average players, we have blundered into an Al Final. Not a bad position to be in. KK will be favourites having won the corresponding fixture in 2014, but we’ll give them a right rattle.

Some players have come good at different stages through the year. Found the form of Nash, Casey and ALTC in the semi-final fairly encouraging. Points to a good blend in the team. A few will be underage again next year - the 2015 minor team, while not title contenders like the previous years, were competitive. Keep it that way, keep bringing a few through and we’ll be in good health.

20 mins to play - Blackrock up 1-11 to 1-10.

Blackrock up by 1 with 5 to go

All over. Blackrock walked all over them (won by 1)

Blackrock win by 1.

Think that seals a Mungret vs Effin relegation final.

Can I have a pm on that story please copper pipe?

PM me please Ciarán

As predicted months ago, despite the scorn of many, Mungret & Effin will contest the relegation final.
