I know the Drom boys around me thought he was shit, but I didnā€™t think he was too bad. Iā€™m sure there were a couple of frees not given on both sides but I thought he got all the major decisions right- both red cards were correct anyway.

I thought the rule was a throw ball but he seemed pretty sure of it.

Yeah the reds were correct. Lot of back chat from Drom players. You must have been near me Iā€™d say. I was on the track side between the two dugouts :sweat_smile:

You must be Eamon Cregan. Saw him make the same mistake one day at an U14 county trial. The then county chairman insisted it was a sideline to the opposing team.

The referee was correct. Itā€™s a technical foul (4.11), free to the opposing team.

I didnā€™t actually think he was wrong, but I did think it seems like a very harsh penalty for a relatively minor infringement.

I would start Boylan at CF now,the team need to rally after this blow and show the depth of the panel.The workrate of Lynch will be a massive loss especially against KK when their HB line get on top for periods and begin to dominate.

My reasoning for starting Flanagan over Boylan is that heā€™s more of a similar player to Lynch. Intelligent hurler, gets the head up, likes a pass. Boylan has been very impressive but heā€™s doing so well in the impact sub role.

Iā€™d probably start ALTC too.

Start ALTC at wing forward or midfield.

ALTC to midfield and Colin Ryan to wing-forward.
Ryan to wing-back, ALTC to midfield and Ronan Lynch up to the forwards would be another option.
