Itâs great being from Limerick.
Iâve had the honour of giving a few nice posts here, a real boost after the soft-as-shite nice post I helped @Bandage to earlier.
The push for #LimerickForLiam2020 starts here. Itâs gonna be unreal.
Giving that a reciprocal like.
You are a top, top poster, tbf
I have been there to see limerick win 3 leagues 6 u21s 1 minor 1 inter AI in my life.
Today was the most satisfying. Won comfortably, beating the cats in the final and a bunch of players born 96 I have seen at close hand sInce they were 8+
It is fucking great. I look forward to a cut at the big one. We are set for it.
That Jura stuff is mighty tack.
were you sitting near Shannonsider by any chance Julio? He reported back to me on his day out with similar issues with a pair of Kilkenny men
a good day all round for you with the Mcelligott cup also going to Kerry. 2 leinster counties sent home with tae in their mug
Thatâs my bottle!
Not a massive fan myself.
Iâm happy to give that number 10 mate, itâs folks like you Iâd be delighted to see win one. Best wishes.
Great all Ireland to win! Undisputed best team at u21 this year, didnât trust them at the start of the year but some lads have really come good, Robbie Hanley had a great year and Gillane/Casey have moved ahead of Nash and Morrissey for me, delighted to see Ronan Lynch motor well yesterday, heâs a superb striker of the ball and if Kiely can find a spot for him at senior heâll be a real asset, doesnât shy away from work either despite his Rep. Colin Ryan and Kyle Hayes as well, great physicality with hurling to boot, shortens the winter anyway!
There was a different kind of atmosphere after the game yesterday. There didnât seem to be the same sense of euphoria as there was in 2015 or indeed after the three in a row titles. It was more a sense of content and at the same time the sense that this set of players now need to go on and prove it at senior level. It had the sense of being a stepping stone. @ciarancareyshurlingarmy, like you I have been present to witness all you have witnessed plus Iâm sure we have also witnessed the heartache .
I suppose the difference is that this set of players as ypu said have been nurtured from a ypung age. The 2000 set was a stroke of luck in a sense that we just happened to have a decent set of players at the time.
These guys have proved it at the various stages of development and I suppose the ultimate proof of progress will need to be delivered within the next 2/3 years.
It is now a question of how to blend that mixture of youth and experience.
The biggest difference now is that we have a bunch of players that are used to winning and that cannot be a bad thing.
you take being a good loser to the next level
very impressive
Dan Joyâs father is from Kerry I believe.
Barry Nashâs hurling lacks the real compactness you require at this and the next level . Hard to know if coaching might work the oracle .
Kyle Hayes is a super reader of the game ,quick and has a bit of devilment but his striking needs real working on .
but
but what mate?
Typo but thanks for reading . Your interest in a few young lads playing a sport you donât like is curious .
nope, my interest is in the over reaction ,tweeness and hyperbole on here
