There’s also Premier Intermediate Championship tonight & tomorrow evening. Maybe not as box office as U-13s but some tasty enough fixtures all the same.

Mungret vs the Bouncers tonight. Mungret had their first loss at the weekend, and the Bouncers didn’t play- had a wedding apparently. Mungret beat us by 2, and lost to Bruff by a point. Garryspillane lost to us by a goal but beat Bruff by 6. Both hammered Bruree. It’ll be an interesting one. Will Gilty be back? @ciarancareyshurlingarmy

Tomorrow, the bottom 2 play- Bruree & Blackrock. Two South teams, both winless. No Richie Mac obviously for Blackrock. Bruree started poorly but have two draws in a row now and probably should have held on in both. They won’t go down easily. Blackrock didn’t play at the weekend though so may be fresher against an old Bruree side.

Will Flanagan play for Feohanagh? Browne is obviously out for Bruff but they are a slicker outfit from what I’ve seen. Their win over Mungret was huge after throwing away the Garryspillane game the week before.

We play Pallasgreen. Last time we played them in Championship was the Intermediate semi-final replay in 2016, they beat us after a replay. Going to be another battle.

He was class against us, Jim-Bob tends to sit at centre-back for the Bouncers so he should get on a lot of ball.

It wasn’t so long that there was barely a team of young lads playing hurling in the city. Now you have clubs - and strangers on the INTERNET - at each other’s throats over a much coveted u-13 county final.

If a fixture is set , you are given a certain date by which you can change , usually one week prior if both clubs agree . If they dont agree the game is to go ahead on date fixed.Anyone involved with underage in the last few years knows this. You can be sure Mungret knew it.

Yes, Mungret must have known this. Probably picked up a few injuries in the football and realised they needed to change the goalposts.

Anybody involved in underage for a few years realises that the games just have to go ahead as planned. DK and Verden would have sorted this one out fairly quickly a few years ago. Verdon is of course gone. Haven’t heard or seen much of DK lately. I hope he’s fine and well.

Behaviour of Na Piarsaigh GAA Club and their club players on twitter an embarrassment to themselves. Dignity and Integrity seriously lacking, and disrespectful to 15 Limerick players who have earned their starting jerseys on Sunday without question. I’ve no problems with na piarisgh or with any of their players at all. I have respect for their achievements. As you say your self there is obviously a couple of cunts in their clubs like most clubs. I feel very sorry for the players that have been robbed off playing in a county final. I think it is terrible to be then celebrating it on twitter like it is some sort of achievement to get a walkover. I’m not sure you are even meant to be putting up photos kids you are coaching on twitter accounts.
