Interesting too while the media suggested we were flying during the league a little mini league of last years all Ireland semi finalists was we drew with Clare, lost to cork and didn’t play Galway. We made light work of last years all Ireland q/fs and tipp/Dublin/Waterford who didn’t make it out of their groups last year. It’s looking increasingly likely we were in a false sense of security. John kiely seemed shocked In his post match comments.
Jesus, Limerick people are rightly rattled after Sunday’s reality check. There’s nothing between Cork, Limerick, Galway (when Joe et al return), Tipp and Clare IMO. Unlike the other 4, if Limerick are beaten in the work rate department there’s not much else going for them.
Winning the All Ireland could be the worst thing to happen to this team
Reckon Limerick will be in the final though
Losing to Cork probably the best thing to happen them
Yes . If Jonny Glynn had flicked Joe’s last minute free in to the net we would have been spared the shame of last Sunday . The curse of St Munchin again .
Only waking up from our slumber, Limerick will be ravenous the next few games
Sweet Jesus.
The most fateful All Ireland in history.
Surprised he hasnt mentioned Gary Kirbys finger tbh in the injury list
I hear the American cheques books have the limerick lads heads in a muddle.
There are definitely 2 of the panel heading anyways is what Im hearing stateside. Neither a starter but both will be a loss.
Its destroyed some lads lives, and thats just on here.
They didnt bring the Liam Mccarthy to any pubs didja know #mightymen #sanctimoniouscunts
Shur they wouldnt even bring it to some schools.
Sad to see lads knocking around here dying for some interaction …
No wonder the lads are turning agin em already
No Cark man has brought Liam anywhere in the last decade and long may that continue.
After 6 minutes peter Casey won a lovely diagonal ball and hegarty went by him like train in on goal and instead of slipping the ball though Casey muddles and feeds graeme. It’s goal opportunities like this that we need to be creating/taking.
Aran Gillane really destroyed cadogan in the opening 30 mins and he should have been on a yellow by half time. Aran needs to work on his right side and he would have had a handy point shortly after the goal. Imaginary free given against Gillane on 36 minutes too. When he was on for another handy point. Cork score directly from that free. 2 point swing. We were 5 points a better side than cork in the opening period. We managed to go in 2 ahead. Being honest after rewatching it again I’d be much more confident for the rest of the year. Corks backs are still awful.
