Limerick GAA - knocked down, but will get up again

This is some joke. Maybe more to it than meets the eye?

It’s really good to see 20 clubs represented.

Its hugely important that as many clubs as possible have representation on Inter-county hurling and football panels. I’m very surprised that neither Brian O’Grady from Kilteely/Dromkeen and Kevin Bonar from Bruff aren’t on the panel. They were both outstanding for JTBCS in the Harty cup earlier on this year. Cork will be raging hot favourites for this game, but the main thing from a Limerick perspective is that they show signs of progression from two years ago, when this group of players were very unlucky not to reach the Munster minor hurling final.

We won the Junior A with less than 5 trainings, I wouldn’t be expecting our Junior Bs to be training!

But if other teams have fellas who are fit from hurling & soccer and actually run around, that would be a bit of a balls.

Along with JP, the man who saved Limerick hurling.

Shur’ it’s still June. We’ve still to mow the pitch before we launch the intense training plan.
No point in peaking for meaningless challenges in May/June.

It’s all about Aug/Sept.

Joe was unmarkable in 80/81

Anyone know the culprit?

Plenty of padding there to take the blow, Dowling’esque.

Who are the red and black team? Fact it might be sub keeper jersey could be confusing things.

Ballybricken

My old nemesis.

The Purple and Gold

Sub goalie .
