A couple of big changes there; Murrihy back to corner-back. He did really well filling in at wing-back for Coughlan and had been playing well at midfield before that. Lyons to full-back now, Keane will be a loss though. Good to have Coughlan back though, he’s excellent.
Bit of rotation in the forwards too, English out to the wing, O’Neill down the middle, O’Donovan to full, Lynch into the corner.
Might be a selection to combat Clare’s sweeper. I think they are the better hurling team for sure, and should have enough to edge it.
Clare play a sweeper with two players in their full forward line so Murrihy is likely to play out the field I’d imagine with Fergal O’Connor and Ronan Lyons picking their inside forwards up. Mike Keane is a big loss, he was brilliant the last day v Clare
Feenagh starting to pull away from Askeaton. 3-8 to 1-8, about 7 left
Nice win for the camogie team this evening!
That’s nice.
Well bate for a finish, we were two up at half time after playing into a stiff enough breeze. Didn’t kick on from there, missed a couple of good goal chances and they got a couple of soft ones. We were within three with about 5 to go.
Kieran’s next up, a must win to keep the season on track
I was in school with Kett’s brother, a sound skin
Mikey? He possibly could be his cousin, though.
No, Kieran.
Was Mikey also known as Betsy? He is a cousin I think, definitely not a brother
Christians hammered NaP too- themselves, Crecora & Patrickswell all on 6 now and even at this stage, look very likely to make the City semis.
