Clowns.
Vinny’s fucking sound. He’s a madman. Like them all. The genealogy man reckons we’re related to them on my ma’s side. I only seem to have inherited the slightly unstable brain gene, though.
The '89 Dublin SHC final is up on Youtube if you want to see them in action. Good quality too.
I’ve heard that one before.
@treaty_exile would you start Dowling at half forward?
Think he is our best FF but badly need to win some ball at half forward.
The Limerick way
Would it be worth sticking Gavin up on Rushe?
Bring Wayne Mac into CB. No doubt Dublin will be planning to exploit our half forward line and use it as a launch pad for their attacks. Something desperately needs to be done with it. It wouldn’t surprise me to see Dublin try to play an almost identical game plan to Tipp.
I’d definitely give Rush something to think about, as in someone who will give him pucks of it. Laois played the sweeper as usual, and Rush was left the free man. Unaffected, he can dictate a game to a huge extent, but if you put him on the back foot you seriously upset the Dublin gameplan.
Hannon is more than capable and showed that last year. Won’t do it this year though. Downes probably isn’t up to it yet. Just put Breen there.
Did Peter Kelly play against Laois? When he was missing due to injury against Galway in the replay they were all over the place in the full backline.
It’s going to be interesting to see the make up of our half forward line. Breen will hold on and I’d imagine Hannon will come back in. It’ll be tough on Tobin if he is left out after playing well in the first half at the weekend when all around him were floundering.
I reckon we could stick Seanie O’Brien on Schutte.
I’d like a crack off Waterford first round of Munster next year. Next years league campaign is massive mfor us tho, we have to identify a 6 and play him there all campaign, at the minute that might be young Byrnes. Who will the management team be tho?
On the basis that he was destroyed the last day is it?
Was he destroyed against Westmeath? I didn’t see it.
I’d start him on the basis that he’s a good man to stop a centre back hurling. It’s well documented he was a bare two weeks back from injury before the Tipp game, completely unfair to start him and expect him to perform in those circumstances. In addition while he made a fuck of a few things he scored a point and won two frees which were pointed in the time he was in the pitch.
The other options are Hannon or Dodge and I fancy Rushe to hurl either off the field, at least Breen might get in his way.
Not seeing games doesn’t stop @glasagusban from analysing what went right and wrong and what must be done for the next game, mate.
Exactly, we keep persisting with a guy who does not have a decent touch, whose striking is poor and whose decision making is even worse. I would go with Reidy, Dowling and Hannon.
That’s what I’ve been trying to say all along. Thank you Bandage.
Seanie Tobin has more of a physical presence than Breen.
Mulcahy needs to be fucked off. Tobin in, Reidy in.
Reidy didn’t even see a minute against Weatmeath, Dowling is not a centre forward, and i don’t know what to think of Hannon this season, he’s either being told to stand off or he just won’t work.
Play him 11 so.
Mulcahy should not be starting on that team.
