Thank fuck!!! great win that second save was the best ive seen in a long time in a game of hurling it rallied the entire team at a crucial stage.
The first was a flick across the Tipp player in possession with the hurl. Softish yellow but can have no complaints. Then a few mins later he left the hurl rap across the helmet of a Tipp player in possession when he probably could have just stood the man up. Can have no complaints at all. At least heāll be back the next day.
That taking the ball into the corner at the end was some fuckacting.
Lyons was an excellent referee tonight.
Great we are in the final bud
Take off your na piarsiagh sunglasses pal. Hegarty McCarthy in goals pat Ryan from Doon and Colin Ryan from Palestine where are stand out players.
Both where yellows to be fair. As exciting a talent Cian is, he has a nasty habit for trying to play the impossible ball which obviously at this level is read by quality backs and leads to cards and scores against us. He was equally brilliant as he was a liability tonight. Hegarty was savage I thought, outperformed o Connell and byrnes for me who were also impressive.
A bit Seamus Hickeyesque. As someone said, Lynch needs to krep it simple.
Hegarty made a mistake for one point in the second half, failed to control it properly and let Tipp in for a point but otherwise he was very solid.
Really need to tighten up at the back though. Conceded three goals and could have let in another few. Shane OāDonnell will be licking his lips. In saying that we looked threatening at the other end ourselves. Breen was brilliant for Tipp and there wonāt be many better defenders than him left in this years championship.
After a fairly dire week it was lovely to eek out the win. Especially in the circumstances of playing almost 20 mins a man down.
Three years ago Clare beat us in minor in Ennis in a sickening Munster semi final defeat. Think we missed about 7 or 8 frees that night and changed free takers about three times. It may have been after extra time they narrowly beat us.
We certainly owe them one. Thereāll be a massive crowd there on Thursday week. Pleased for John Kiely, seems a good genuine guy. Obviously when you are down to 14 tactics go out the window but we played some great stuff at times. Just intelligent simple play. We overdid it at times if anything. Would agree on lynch, smashing player but just needs to take his own score at times rather than over doing it.
Going into work the morning after a championship win is all that bit easier.

What a strange comment. I mentioned one Na P player in my post and said heāll be lucky to keep his place. What are you on about?
@Rocko, I got a notification saying @Mullach_Ide quoted my post but it was actually this lad. Whatās going on? Is the place fucked?
Clare by 10.
Was that John Flavin the Maor Uisce? He was doing some job roaring his head off at players to make sure Limerick kept up the intensity.
I was seated near the Tipp bench and didnāt hear a thing from them all night.

Roaster park in two weeksā¦ sort it.
Would have loved to have seen those Tipp cunts last night that were sat behind us at the senior game Although us sporting Limerick folk wouldnāt have lowered ourselves to their horrible standards
Limerick by 2
The Limerick Leader will be sickened the game is on a Wednesday. Presume they will only go with a 16 page preview the Thursday before as opposed to the 32 page one
It is on Thursday July 30th is it not??

The comment didnāt have any merit alright, pal. However, I think your own previous one represented quite a dampening of expectations around Ronan Lynch. The youngster is clearly very talented but not every player coming out of the minor ranks will immediately prosper at senior like Cian Lynch, Tony Kelly or a couple of others. As an outsider, I was very impressed with the Limerick goalkeeper, full back and the all action midfielder who also used the ball intelligently. That chap in midfield looked like he could have contributed to the senior squad this season.
Looks like it is. The leader will be delighted
