I have said for thw past 2 years that Mickey Ned is a fraud. I am still of that poinion. Donie Buckley is the brains behind that team and that is a fact.
Think it is time he stood aside and let Martin Kiely come in and take this team to the promised land
Nice try Pukey. Not a hope Keily is also a fraud. This is Donie Buckleys team till he decides he doesnât want it. I HATE LIMERICK GAA BY THE WAY. IT S FAIR DEPRESSING
When my dad was a kid there was a fella in the village who remembered the 1896 triumph.
Keep the faith runty, keep the faith. Your time will come.
Will they make the draw for our qualifier next weekend??
You heading to Wexford Runt?
Ya but man management, media and all that are not Buckleyâs forte. He is better in the background. Think Mickey Ned has said he is only a coordinator so in getting to one point of Cork for the last two years in a row - Id say he is doing a good job. Leave him at it.
Nothing coming through from underage though and I think Limerick could be very vunerable in the qualifiers particularly if its an away game.
My Great-granuncle was captain that day Thrawneen and my father has some good stories about the big man.

Just because they are not winning trophys at under age level doesnât mean there is nothing coming through you clown. Ian Ryan and Ger Collins have the makings of being too of the best forwards in the country and Iâm sure you wouldnât have heard of them for the their underage exploits. Club football in Limerick is strong too, weâre the Munster club champions. So to say there is nothing coming through is a stupid statement.
Attaboy runty.
How did you get on with kevs bird after?

Sheâs a skanger. I wouldnât touch her with KIBs mickey.

No but its a general sign. Seeing Jason Stokes still playing wouldnt fill you with confidence as an outsider anyway.
Fluke of the new Millenium. Expect KIB to right that wrong this year.

Nothing wrong with keeping some experience around a side, Iâd commend Stokes for soldiering still, not criticise it.

Ya, sorry KIB stupid fo them to think the Munster club footballer of the year would be worth his place on the County panel.
Often the best club footballers arent suited to inter county. Look at Peter OâDwyer burned it up down in Wexford, was brought on to the county side but struggled.
So you are saying that Jason Stokes isnât suited to inter county football? You are talking some amount of shit this morning. THe man has been immense for Limerick in the past. Granted heâs been plauged by injuries the past couple of years, but to say heâs not suited to inter county is just plain stupid. Have you watched much Limerick football over the years?
Often?
Thatâs one example. I donât even know whether it is a valid one.
Perhaps give another 20 before you can back up the âoftenâ comment.
Good club players make good county players. They are good players after all. I would be thinking that a Provincial club player of the year should be looking to make a county side.

Surely good enough to come on as a sub in the last 15 mins of a game anyway!

its not. I think he played one year for Castletown in Wexford, and didnt exactly set the pulses racing. was just about on their team. the fact he was called up to the county panel is not something to be using in an argument.
Runt,
How good is this Ian Ryan bloke? Looked superb yesterday from the pieces I saw and didnât he put up a massive score last year against Meath?
Great to see a player like that coming on the scene.
