Limerick GAA - We get knocked down 🐐

re the gaelic grounds as jimmy barry murohy said it will be wonderful for 20,000 or so cork supporters who get in to the match other than those taller than 5ft 5inchs who have to sit in the stand and of course the other 5,000 or so who can`t get a ticket will be a bit disapointed but sure who cares

That’s some pile of gash.

you must be well out of pocket over the last few years so since cork have failed to win the last five or six senior finals they have reached with three munsters (one draw) two league finals and two all irelands (one draw)

Delighted for Kip Killigan. I almost forgave him briefly for the day he threw Dr. Bryan out to the baying wolves of the meejia as he skulked away with Justin and Garvey in the dungeons of PUiC after almost destroying Limerick hurling and certainly ending the playing careers of many fine players. Only joking. The only ones here to deserve praise are the panel of players moulded from children into the hurlers they are today by Joe Quaid, Anthony Carmody and Shane Fitzgibbon. Did Killigan parachute his own young fella into the panel or is that a vicious rumour?

its fine to be bollixing on about bryan ryan and so on as he is a grown man but his young lad should be left out of it.

Listened to that pile of steaming shit from Thugby FM and I have to say, as much as it pains me, that Finbarr was a bit childish but oh so correct. Nash hasn’t a bullshit notion as to what the inside of PUiC looks like and he should stick to commenting on his beer cup franchise. Finbarr should have offered him a tour of the park the next time Joe was down at a thugby match in Musgrave Park. The Voice of Limerick GAA was equally didn’t exactly set the world on fire with comments either, did he?

Still sore over a few weeks ago and so much for your all mighty Clare minor team!

Straight forward enough question. Someone is brought from nowhere to the panel and we can’t question it? That might be how you do things in Clare but it doesn’t make it ok for us in Limerick.

Wasn’t at the game tonight as I was driving back from Cork City ironically. Back to back Munster titles is what this team needs, and then a right rattle at the All Ireland. Also have to add it’s great to see so many young lads from different clubs making this team. The future looks very bright so long as the work continues. Luimneach Abu!!!

wasn`t casey the na piarsaigh lad brought straight in and he did fine. if you want to give a view on the young lad based on what you have seen him do on a hurling field then fine. if you want to have a go simply because of who his father is then you are a dick head.

There’s been a great group of players at minor come along over the last two years. I dislike Brian Ryan and he should have never been let near any team again given his history, but lads giving Quaid the credit for this group of minor players being good is complete bullshit and they should go away and fuck off for themselves.

Good mix to the team alright. Vulnerable in a couple of positions, though, but they are guaranteed another couple of matches now at least, would love to see them get back to Croke Park and atone for the Galway defeat.

Kind of a strange performance, scored 0-23 but apart from the period after half time never really caught fire with some of the marquee names kept fairly quiet. Great to see lads like little Peter Casey coming in and impressing. He got two or three points from play.

Nice way to face into a final with loads of room for improvement.

It’s not very often i agree with this fella but that post is bang on.

no one was predicting that the clare team were all mighty anything. they were not expected to do much but they improved as they went along and therefore i gave them a good chance of winning
they lived up to that rating last night, they played with 14 men and came back from 6 down to almost win the game down in waterford, the county with the best underage structures in ireland currently.
in fact only for a miraculous save from the waterford keeper clare would have gone through and would have well deserved it.
as regards last day out a lot of you boys have whooped it up pretty heavily since that win. It just shows how far cork have fallen that you are getting so much mileage from a win where no prizes are handed out.
ye are currently exactly where ye were this time last year. how did that work out for you?

Well we were 35 seconds away from an all ireland last year.

yes, and three weeks later ye were 12 months from one.

Game set and match.

Three weeks later they were 11 months and 1 week away from one.

the new name giving you a bit of an irritable bowel or something that you have to be coming out with this kind of weak pedantic sh1t?

thats as dumb as giving ryan no credit. quaid and flynn broght these players through and contributed to their development
