What the fuck would you know, you cunt
That’s more like it.
The All Ireland finals will have to be pushed back too. What I would propose is get rid of the provinical club championships and have straight knock out. Something along the lines of.

Surprising Boris is left out, In my opinion as talented as he is, his a far better soccer player
How did clubs fair with the ticket allocations last night?
As if any of the lads that spoof away on here are members of clubs:D
Looks like Moran will definitely play some part. Allis is a loss if he’s out. Reidy and Dempsey probably out, even if neither were likely to feature (Dempsey should be getting more of a chince IMO but it might be a but late in the season now).

I’d be very surprised if this team started. Hegarty for Treacy would definitely be one change.

While I agree in principal with bringing him back, what does this say to some of the other lads who are on the fringe. Fellas like Tommy Quaid, Michael Ryan, Tommy O Brien, David Breen, Tom Ryan must be thinking they’re wasting their time putting in the effort. Especially David Breen who would be in direct competition with Moran for whatever role their considering him for.
It clearly tells them they are not good enough.
Well if he’s been with them since before the Tipp game and is playing well in training then fair enough, but Allis and Breen in particular, yeah. Teege also overlooked both in favour of playing Tom Ryan, arguably out of position, from the bench the last day. Of course Ryan did well coming on, and I was even surprised he didn’t start. Breen may have shot himself in the foot by mouthing off about being played at half back, but he also missed all the league so a bit of work to be done to get back in anyway. Allis will be the one feeling most hard done by I think. Might be being affected by injuries but he had a good league and carried us with frees in a couple of games, surely must have been fuming not to start and then see Ryan ahead of him as a sub for wing forward against Tipp.
Were you actually at the league games to see Allis carrying us?
Again, with frees. Wasn’t in the country for the first half of the league but it was the distinct impression I got from listening to one game in particular on the radio, he played v Offaly with the flu, and i thought he was generally good in one game I saw him in but am struggling to remember which it was.
Tom Ryan is good enough anyway!
That Woodlands U16 Football Tournament is on tomorrow as well.
They’ll be lucky to have 500 in the gaelic grounds
I’d have no problem at all with Niall Moran coming back. He has bags of experience and will be a serious option from a bench that’s lacking in forward subs. With all respect to Tommy Quaid, Tommy O’Brien and Micheal Ryan, they’re not exactly going to inspire fear in an opposition if introduced.
The bench needed strengthening as most of last year’s impact players are now starting. Moran, on his day, can be lethal and will take a lot of minding by whoever is marking him. Tom Ryan has been going very well in recent times. probably won’t start as I suspect the same team will be named as played v Tipp. Allis had been struggling with illness for a bit and Reidy is a long way off recovering from a broken collar bone. That leaves Breen as a viable forward sub. We should see him at some stage on Sunday week and don’t be surprised if he makes a vital impact.
Breen also isn’t liable to come on and score 3/4 points.
Moran has that potential.
