I was in agreement with you against TJās appointment a few months ago. However it is very clear that the players are willing to die for him and I havnāt seen that in a Limerick team since Richie Bennis was in charge. Thats enough for me to admit my initial opinion was wrong and you should do the same.
He got a few things wrong this year but made a lot more correct calls than incorrect ones and it has been a great learning curve for him and his selectors aswell as the players. It would be complete madness to suggest replacing him. They also have a clear run of club games ahead to look at players.

Not saying heads should roll at all, but it is really important to gain promotion. Those who think ye can continue yer current form line playing essentially Division 2 League hurling is mental is all.
I was joking! Division 1 should remain the target. My point is if we donāt make it again in 2015 there should not be outrage like last year as it is not the be all and end all.
Excellent and decisive leadership by Limerick County Board. Teege deserves to have that faith placed in him and it looks a very united camp well placed to progress from here.
if we can replace him in the full back line then, yeah, heād be a fine centre back. He is very important at the moment in the full back line and is probably the best man we have to nullify a scoring threat from the opposition, if you can get someone in to do that job as well as him, then heād be perfect for 6. If not, leave him where he is, Wayne isnāt doing a terrible job there so no point robbing Peter to pay Paul.
Not much on tv last night and we watched the second half of the Tipp game to cheer us up.
James Ryan & Paul Browne ran the show, Cork could ruin Tipp in midfield.
Bonner had Wayne Mac for dinner, at one stage he won 5 balls in a row, including one where Wayne went for the all-out shoulder while he was on the wrong side which helped drive Bonner towards goal. We need a 6 alright, possibly Wayne to 5.
Duignan has become a bona fide Limerick fan this year.
Not for a season, at senior. I think his last game there was in 2011 when Donal OāGrady played him at 3 most of the season and Geary at 6 and every fan all year could see that wasnāt working out. After Dublinās third goal, I think, Hickey went to 6 and Condon to 3 and we nearly nicked the game.
Fact is we canāt replace him in the full back line because we donāt have a corner back as good as him, in fact, he is probably the best player in the team. So moving him will weaken the full back line. But I think moving him to 6 would strengthen that position a lot, and moving Wayne to 5 would strengthen that position a lot. It also would give the option of switches in the half back line mid games to improve match ups if necessary as Wayne could switch in to 6. Would also release Paudie as a midfield option, even just as an impact sun.
The question then is if we have a satisfactory corner back to step in. Walsh is a very good corner back and was unlucky to lose out this year. On off the ball yesterday Hickey mentioned that management felt he would be more comfortable hurling out the field if he had to follow a man, they clearly had Noel McGrath in mind. Might not suit Walsh. Dempsey or King though, while not as good players as Hickey, have both done a lot of hurling at corner back and at midfield and could maybe fill that role. If either could come close to it then the pay off in strengthening the half back line would be worth weakening the full back line imo.
