Limerick GAA - We get knocked down šŸ

Only one county now whoā€™ve appeared in a football All Ireland with a 100% winning record.

The two football semis in Mick Neville on Friday night. Iā€™d fancy Pats to cause an upset over a sure to be over confident caseys side. The form of caseys group isnā€™t working out great either. In the other a Bally side without tom lee will stay with drom for 45 minutes before the champions will kick on and win by 4 or 5.

A bit late but i was at the gaelic grounds last Saturday night for the two club semi-finals. Kilmallock v adare was an enjoyable game, the minor lad played well at wing forward for Kilmallock. Barry Nash another of the minors was south liberties best player. Itā€™s becoming more evident with each round of games how goid some of these minors are, such a shame they didnt win the All-Ireland. South liberties were shocking bad. One ofthe kilmallock management team curiously had his hair dyed pink.

The second match was a rout. Ahane battered Liberties, @Batt the Ladd will be pleased with that. Total non contest. Barry Nash buried a couple of 21 yard frees late on to put some respectability on it.

Semi finals - Na Piarsaigh v Ahane and Doon v Kilmallock. A tenner into the football but 15 for the hurling.

I was delighted at that result Dodgy. Would have been better for hurling had PJā€™s boys gone down and Granagh stayed up. :frowning:

NaP will handle Ahane alright but the other one could be a cracker.

@balbec, please explain the pink hairā€¦is this common in kilmallock?

Itā€™s not common, itā€™s classy.

Iā€™m not sure, really. Maybe he thought we were playing Na Piarsaigh and wanted to fit in.

Itā€™s mark Lyons. He looks a bit different these days, but definitely him.

It seems Limerick and Mayo have something else in common (apart from a losing streak in All Irelandā€™s), a county board that appoints managers in a Macheiavellian manner.
The difference here is that the Mayo boys had one amongst them who was willing to put his head above the parapet.

In Limerick we have gobshites

The 2 football semi finals are on tonight in Mick Neville Park. Its a pity that the stand they got planning permission for has never been built. Spike said one time that the money Croke Park got from the soccer and rugby had been ear marked for this stand. Whats the story now?? St Pats and Drom will win tonight with the Saints to go on and win the county. They have the most exciting forwards in the county.

Moss McCarthy is a football genius.

Any updates from Mick Neville Park @dodgy-keeper & @TreatyStones, Did Pats forwards undo Kearns Abbeyfeale system

St. Pats win by a goal. 1-09 to 0-09

With Drom gone St Pats will surely claim a long awaited senior title.

Fairplay to Pats, underdogs by all regards I hope they win it out now.

Will be hard to beat them now alright because a rising tide and all thatā€¦ They will have learned from last year and were very disappointed after it so this year will be their year.

Best forwards in the County by all accounts, be nice to see an underdog win it out, Theyā€™ll be up against it in the final though.

By my reckoning this will be the first final of this millennium not involving a west team.

Missed the games tonight due to another engagement. Abroad for the county hurling final too.

Pats were 6/4 to win tonight, knew I should have lumped on them. Iā€™d like to see them go on and win it now. Bally ground it out against NCW last week and it seems like the same again tonight. Drom have had an incredible run, winning the Munster club was an unbelievable achievement but itā€™ll be nice to see another parish celebrating. Thereā€™ll be a mighty session whoever goes on to win it now.
