its down to time @TreatyStones
the Clare hurling commitment required time, organization and resulted in a consistent challenge from top level sportsmen
the limerick football (i had a giggle writing that)commitment requires scattering a few water bottles around some god forsaken west limerick cabbage patch and educating wannabies as to what to say re starting conversations with Kerry folk on football matters
The anger and hurt is seeping out from @Kid Chocolate 's post here. Heās gutted. Absolutely gutted.
I think itās the role he takes this time next year that will tell a lot and if it is with one of the Limerick I/C hurling sides then the best of luck to him, I doubt anyone in clare would begrudge him any success. But this time next year will tell a lot more
It is a one off role for a few months, one that he can walk away from towards the end of the school year and go off travelling for the summer. A luxury that you would not have if involved with an I/C side. It is a short term arrangement and nothing more whereby he will coach the mentors involved in the development squads over the spring and that is about it
Limerick footballā¦FFS, lads stop, yeāre making public displayās of yerselves, this is the internet.
Limericks best footballer is currently a sub here in Clare on a team of converted hurlers.
Stop, please stop with this silly rattle tattle
Eh, thatās the exact point you gimp.
He thinks something completely and utterly irrelevant like Limerick underage football is more important and worthwhile than working with Clare senior hurling team.
No wonder youāre flapping around like an idiot here. Youāre off the scale rattled, pal.

Limerick football FFSā¦please stop
Ask yourself why heās not working with their hurlers despite having been handed an open chequeby PJ?
Then go back asleep

Yet you scramble around trying to justify it. Grasping for reasons. Looking for assurance. Stop crying and making a show of yourself, pal. Move on, just like Paul Kinnerk.
Given that Oliver never actually won an election for anything, will he be destined to lose his only ever contested plebiscite on his time as chairman? Heffernan will not be wanted by the majority of the current officers and the canvassing machine will be out in force to stop him getting elected. I wonder will the Politically Motivated Understudy get involved in this one or will he stay away safe in the knowledge that he stopped CiarƔns appointment?
Any predictions for Sunday lads? Na Piarsaigh are clear favourites after their demolition of a poor Ahane team. Kilmallock didnāt impress me in the other semi against Doon, they will surely up it for the final though, Paudie OāBrien got one great score but was otherwise fairly anonymous and Gavin looked to have a hand injury. Still reckon they will put it up to Na Piarsiagh on Sunday.
Iām hearing quite the opposite. Heffernan is very close to being elected and he needs to get his message out there so that the sheep know that they have a man who will fight for the betterment of Limerick GAA at the top table. Looking at all the other movers and shakers it looks like the same dunces moving chairs again. The only other election is to Munster Council. I hope that cunt from Kierans doesnāt get it, not that the other two are much better but this career ofeeeshal needs to be given the boot.
the real story hear is that after having spent time involved in a really exciting successful set up in Clare kinnerk wouldn`t even consider slumming it with the limerick hurlers
