Limerick GAA - We get knocked down šŸ

Cat got your tongue @twiceasnice97 ??

Is the final on in limerick

minor in 2015

@Rintintin, what number was Flanagan?

I wasnā€™t at the junior final glas.

14, in the yellow helmet.

Full forward yellow helmet
No10 hitting the line balls looked handy too

Cheers. He was decent. Was surprised at the run they went on on us. The Munster win brought them on a ton.

Some belt of a line ball off him anyway, he had plenty of distance to spare.

Flanagan is a serious prospect, meant to be almost a one man forward line for West Limerick in the Harty Cup. Who are Feohanagh playing next in the Munster club?

Not sure what you are rambling on about here as this is junior a hurling.

your claim is that flanagan will be better than cosgrave, both lynchs and tom morrissey then?

come back to me when he has as much won as his first cousin.

Feohanagh are meeting Modeligo of Waterford in Coolyroe next Sunday at 2 with the winners to meet Castlemartyr of Cork in the final.

Flanagan is a good one and, realistically, one of about only 6 or 7 of the 2013/14 minor panels that will make it at senior inter-county.

Putting my neck on the line with that one.

On the law of averages youā€™re probably right and you never know how some will develop or regress, but Iā€™d say thereā€™s a very strong case for 10 or more (the first four of the following being certs for me): Lynch, Lynch, ALTC, Nash, Morrissey, Ryan, English, Flanagan, Dempsey, Casey.

Also, Casey was a major loss to the Na P juniors and would probably have been the difference between the teams on the first day out if playing.

Hey Fuckersā€¦

The 2 Lynch lads, Nash, ALTC, English, Sean Finn and Seamus Flanagan are the ones who will make it imo. Darragh Oā€™Donovan might develop strongly aswell.Dont think the rest will.

Thereā€™s a few of those Iā€™d have serious doubts about, including at least one of your certs, but a couple near the end of the list have serious potential.

Iā€™d certainly see young McNamara, the goalkeeper, as a long-term option. Sean Finn also, though not in the full-back line. Often the less-spectacular minor can deliver a quality career over a long period. Iā€™m thinking of the likes of Dodge, Bangers, Geary, Steve McDonagh etc.

Limerick supporters have not learnt the lessons from 10 years ago when we talked up the 21ā€™s players too much.

With minors its even more dangerous to be talking them up as senior intercounty players. Thereā€™s various step ups in class between Junior, intermediate, senior club, minor intercounty, fitzgibon and senior intercounty. It would be huge for Limerick to have 4\5 of that minor team to progress to senior ranks but to predict that 10 will progress is just madness imo.

I see four certs. I said thereā€™s a strong case to be made for 10 or more over the 13/14 teams, not that they were definites.
