As a team with a lot of young players then, how many came off the minor squad over a year or two period? So that we can draw a comparison with the limerick minor squad of 2013/14 and carry on speculating how many will make senior.

Anyone hear Paul Galvin on Matt Cooper last night? In particular the comment he made about Ciaran Carey and Mark Foley as a management team?? His praise was high and he managed to take a swipe at the Limerick Co Board while he was at it⌠My opinion of him went right up.

Heard Lixnaw were very annoyed with him since the co. Final , barely made any trainings and just didnât bother turning up to things. Too busy pushing his book I guess. He was dropped for the Bruff game over it.

Galvin also talked about Careyâs observation of the Lixnaw team âhurling to the oppositionâ instead of hurling their own game. He seemed awful impressed with Carey & Foley as individuals and as hurling minds.

The Pallastinians have won the Intermediate Hurling title defeating Monaleen 0-11 to 0-8.

Just back from Bruff.
Proper winter hurling. Monaleen missed a rake of chances and will feel they blew it. Low scoring but strangely absorbing game.
Other points of note -
Pallas finished with 15 players.
Monaleen had a sub called Peter Griffin.
The Minor Hurling semi final is on finally next Tuesday night.
