He improved Condon a lot in 2011.

Lyons isn’t a hurling man at all he’d hardly be able to lay out a shouting drill. Jerry Wallace was the man, he is an unreal trainer.

Waterford brought these lads in and built a system around them that they can practice in training and implement it on the playing field- i know that sounds wild to you Limerick lads but surely even you dumb bastards can see merit in it. TJ has brought in lads as good as the Waterford crop and has em whacking it. Just fucking whack it lads…Typical Limerick, just when they look to be going forward they take two steps back. I sense a massive fall-out coming soon…

I don’t know where you get the idea that Mark Lyons isn’t a hurling man. Played senior with Kilmallock including in a county final iirc. Also played inter-county with London.
