What’s the story with tickets ? Seems to be the mother and father of crowds going from Limerick or looking to go anyway.
The last year Kerry won the football in a year ending in 2 was 1962, when they beat a Connacht team in the final. This was the last year Kilkenny didn’t win the hurling in a year ending in 2.
Three of those times - in '72, '82 and '02, Kerry lost the final.
There’s a riding on the outcome of the hurling final for Kerry.

There’ll be no issue with tickets. Anyone who wants one will get sorted.
The frequency of games, the price of ticket and associated costs of living crisis, along with promised good weather, will weed out a lot of neutrals and bandwagoners.

The auld lads with loads of pull aren’t going this time. They got their fix last 3 of 4 years.

The pressure on Limerick this Sunday is seismic.
