Liveline thread

Brother Walfrid being name checked here.

Albert is some barstooler in fairness

Who’s presenting? Surely Duffy can’t hold a conversation on Celtic.

Albert.

Damian o Reilly. Doing a decent job. Being provocative too.

I imagine the caller Albert is friend of the forum Albert from Naomh Padraig CSC.

That’s some songlist from last night!

A Rangers fan called Patrick.

Booooooorrrrrrrriiiiiinnnnnnggggggg

Good point by Phil Mac Goilla Bhain about the abuse Anton Rogan took at Windsor Park.

Utter idiot here trying to twist the blame onto Lennon. Deary me.

I am no longer bored as it was suggested, tongue in cheek style that Lennon should dye his hair as it might take the heat out of the whole situation.

DLTBGYD Lenny.

Stay ginger, stay proud.

Rangers supporter from Wexford on

big SRFC man too-i have no dount he done well- cant wait to listen to it

A bizarre afternoon’s Liveline, when all is said and done. Funnily enough the two Irish “Rangers supporters” sounded like they didn’t have a fucking clue about football.

Reading the songlist from last night was probably the funniest moment of radio I’ve heard in a long time.

Assuming and hoping it was the same Albert too.

Did anyone make the point that Niall McGinn and Paddy McCourt got bullets in the post too? Has there ever been a less offensive person than Niall McGinn and he got similar treatment.

Was it before Celtic-Barcelona when Martin O’Neill addressed the Scottish media and told them that the abuse his captain had suffered at Ibrox was sectarian and racial? The SFA responded by saying he could make a complaint if he wanted to and that he wouldn’t be charged with bringing the game into disrepute for his comments. What a progressive organisation in a progressive country.

Albert mentioned the bullets a number of times Rocko and that the two lads are harmless.

The songlist was priceless

Yes mate, a number of the callers made the point about Patrick and Niall.

One point missed by the callers though was Artur Boruc blessing himself and receiving a police caution because huns are intolerant to anything Catholic.

If I recall correctly I believe Bill Leckie came out with the comment “quite frankly I’ve been sick of him for a while” about O’Neill after he brought Lennon over to the Celtic fans as shown in your picture above. Says alot really.

Joe lamenting with a Fianna Fail member that “wonderful ministers” like Conor Lenihan and Mary Hanafin" and the other wonderful people in Fianna Fail were not in office for our Queen’s visit. But good to see that “Brian and Bertie” were there.

It’s Forelock Tugging-line today.

Caller: “Our esteemed president talked about building bridges, she has built the final block of the bridge and it is there for ever more”.
