You can really feel the anger. People who had low key funerals for loved ones and perhaps not getting the closure a traditional funeral may have offered are absolutely seething and rightfully so.
This resigning from cushy extras such as leas chair of the Seanad or cabinet isnât enough.
Listening to these poor people talk about their shitty funerals, Iâm gaining some sympathy for Nuala and Bridie who werenât allowed go to their parentsâ funerals and now just desperately have to believe that it wasnât for nothing. Obviously there are plenty of curtain-twitchers too.
if youre not fit to be a minister how are you fit to be a TD
Jaysus this poor man is in tears for hume
The crying farmer cant go to the mart.
Any sign of Sean O Rourke ringing in?
Yes of course you would feel a lot of sympathy for them but you do what you have to do in life. I like to see people being pro active and taking the bull by the horns. There has to be instances of course where we have to abide by restrictions and work in the interest of public health but as for having 10 people at a funeral etc better ask for forgiveness than permission in my eyes.
Didnt get on rte are censoring tfk
Felt sorry for the dad from Kildare. Was quite restrained. Son with special needs. Very little respite. Young lad cant go swimming, cant go to watch planes take off and land and cant access any learning supports. I cant remember a day when the political class seemed so out of step with public sentiment. Even righteous condemnation from politicians like Harris is getting lampooned. Its like a Turkey shoot.
Priests simply wonât let more than the permitted amount in the church. Nothing the mourners can do about it.
My ma got thrown out of church by a priest sheâs known for years. People simply not given the choice.
Hotels donât either. Unless you are a politician.
Churches bend the rules for politicians too
Snollygosters
This fella on now did a great job of taking notes on who was there.
Guy on now saying that Phil is the saviour of the country.
Iâm no fan of Phil but heâs doing a fine job of disguising his voice here.
Phil the great defender of the country.
Geraldine the bus driver on there ranting at big Phil on the other line.
