Liverpool 2018/2019

Kompany has a history of those types of tackles. Got away with a similar one earlier in the season iirc. Wouldn’t be grumbling about it anyway. Liverpool have had the rub of the green over the season so far.

Van Dijk got away with murder last night, manhandling and putting his hands all over anything that came into contact with him.

Big Virge showed why he’s the best centre half in the world right now. Imperious. To do so playing beside a bombscare like Lovren makes it all the more impressive.

He cost them the game.

VVD can’t use the ball at his feet under pressure, you mad bastard.

Lovren is a WC Finalist who all ye cunts fuck under the bus with every mediocre team performance.

That’s the general consensus alright. Gomes will come back in to replace him in a few weeks and partner big Virge for the homes stretch.

Lovren is a ham.

Big Virge is never under pressure.

Apart from when it comes to performing the offside trap.

I don’t see Spurs dropping many points over the second half of the season. Spurs are a second half of the season side. Two seasons ago when Chelsea won the league, Spurs amassed the most points over the second half of the season, 47 to Chelsea’s 43. Last season even with Man City hitting a record 100 points, the 45 points City amassed over the second half of the season was only two more than the 43 Spurs picked up. Spurs have finished ahead of Liverpool in 8 of the last 9 seasons and in quite a few of those, Spurs have reeled in Liverpool and overtook them over the second half of the season.

Liverpool have concede 4 goals in the league since he came in. Against Utd he made no attempt at stopping the cross that Alisson spilled for the goal. Gave the ball away that started the attack for the Arsenal goal. At fault for both goals last night and made another 2 mistakes at the end. @Fran was spot on about City letting him have it last night.

You’re nitpicking now. Have you completed that due dilligence yet? cc @GeoffreyBoycott

Give him a chance. That’s a huge project. I wasn’t expecting a 24 hour turnaround. He has to get his hands on financial statements and accounts of at least 10 Premier League clubs for a period of anything up to a decade (spanning the career of Ronaldinho). He then has to review all that information before compiling his report. That’s at least a two week job. He might even have to take some leave of absence from work to do it.

You are totally correct, Klopp made the mistake of going more defensive. His plan was to try nick a winner or get a draw and he got caught. As they say attack is the best form of defense.

The midfield was where he made his biggest mistake, hopefully this is the last time that we see that trio in midfield together.

Fucking Mane, he would drive ya fucking nuts, if that chance had of fallen to Salah of Firmnho they would have scored.

It’s actually gas reading the Hackie Cahill reactions here from you guys. Lovren is a WC Finalist who Coach Klopp obviously rates but you know it alls know better. :man_shrugging:

Liverpool could start to tie up now. Salah, Mane, Firmino, Wijnaldum, Robertson and VVD seem to play every game and that high tempo high pressing game that Liverpool play has to take its toll especially on the three forwards and especially in the second half of the season.

That’s sport mate … half an inch the other way and Mane’s shot goes in.

Spurs will bottle it anyway, they only perform when the pressure is off. They have got themselves in touching distance in a couple of title races recently and shit their togs at West Brom, Chelsea and West Ham.

They are bottlers. No trophies.

The offside trap is not nitpicking.

That is a big worry. Maybe go a few a rounds in the FA Cup and then go out to concentrate on the League. Really goes to show how thin the squad is.
