Liverpool 2018/2019

Spuds and Liverpool fans bemoaning finances when little old Leicester City beat them to a league title under their current managers.

Well it absolutely isn’t a fact

Investment

Throwing out billions endlessly and snapping up all the potential young talent out there for stupid money – Those levels are unparalleled… I dont know what you’re trying to justify here - money arguments are pointless in football … but at the same time you have to admit City - Utd and then Chelsea have a clear advantage over the rest as they are not bogged down with having to balance the books.

everyone has to adhere to Financial Fair Play fella.

Fifa Financial Fair Play.

Incorrect. It’s been proven that Man City and PSG don’t

Globally, Liverpool would be far bigger … it’s why their commercial success has rocketed in recent years with the club being run correctly. City dont need commercial success and regard themselves as bigger because they have more money…

City have made a profit on transfers this season

where? In what court of law? If City aren’t FFP compliant then why are they allowed to spend money.

You have a huge problem with Arabs mate

How did they do it tho? Snapping up all the young talent with $$$ and then flogging them off

One season. It takes a long time to build a team. How many other seasons in the last 10 have they made a profit?

They have made healthy profits there. Liverpool have too. Jordan Ibe, Solanke, Brad Smith etc

I don’t know but they did this season.

1 player the odd season … City sold 8 youngsters this year alone … they are out muscling their rivals financially to get young players and flogging them off down the road to make it look like balancing the books.

Because UEFA are a very corrupt organisation

I have a huge problem with human rights abusers using football clubs for propaganda purposes

What’s your point?

Who doesnt?

FOGRA

Can we please keep all discussions about Chelsea, currently in a three way battle for 4th place, to other threads?

This thread should be related to Liverpool, currently leading the EPL

Anyway - - it’s coming to light now that there was widespread illness in the camp last week… You could see a lot of players were well off the pace last night.

cc @caulifloweredneanderthal

It would explain a lot.

Will they be able to field a team against WHU?
