Klopp has a net spend of 0.50, mate. He can’t be held accountable for the ridiculous money spent by Rodgers and/or Kenny… He’s squad cost 0.50m, that’s hardly the 5th highest in the league?
Chelsea sold Oscar to balance the books. Conte has driven down wages since taking over.

Unlike Chelsea, Liverpool have to make the books balance and the Benteke sale was good business. Liverpool is run as a business, not a laundering service for a Russian oligarch.

Fixed that there for you
Contes squad cost £18m so.
36 times the cost of Liverpool’s.
Conte’s net spend is closer to 40-50 million British pounds.
56 million according to this table: http://www.transferleague.co.uk/chelsea/english-football-teams/chelsea-transfers
While it is undisclosed, they hardly spent more than 2million on Eduardo. Let’s just say its 120m gross spend. Salah brought in approx 10m pounds. That brings income to 72.5m. Difference there is 47.5m for the season. Not sure where this 18m figure is coming from.
They sold someone for mega bucks to China
That’s included in the table pal. 52m queen pounds for Oscar.
Wow - 45m net spend - 90 times the cost of Liverpool’s squad… I mean, earlier @Nembo_Kid was willing to dismiss a difference of 8.5m per player when averaging out the subs used in last night’s game - Given that Klopp is only on half a million more the Conte, using his rationale, they are practically on the same money but Conte has spent to the value of 90 times more/greater than Klopp did. Unreal.

No it’s not.
Get your facts right. In fact Chelsea have a negative net spend if you discount transfers before Conte arrived. Batshuayi was announced while Conte was still Italy manager.
But Conte was announced as manager in April. If he didn’t have any control over players that didn’t get signed until July, I’d be very worried about his (Conte’s) future at the club. Batshuayi was actually unveiled as a Chelsea player the day after Conte’s Italy were eliminated from the Euros.
Are you telling me Conte had nothing to do with Batshuayi?
How could he sign a player when he hadn’t even been employed by the club at that date?
Yes.
A disaster waiting to happen so. The chairman back buying players. Conte won’t last at Chelsea beyond two seasons if he has absolutely no say in the players brought in to play directly under him. At least Liverpool’s much-fabled transfer committee gives the manager a voice, albeit a limited one in terms of some transfers.
He was the incoming manger at that date. There was nobody else in the job. The player was never going to play under a different manager at Chelsea.
The director of footballer is charged with this. Conte will have been used to it in Italian football.
Incoming being the key word.
Has Conte no say in transfers?
Not when he hasn’t started his job yet. Kante was the one player Conte really wanted this summer, Alonso and Luiz were panic buys after missing out on top targets and Batshuayi was an Enemalo signing.
You’d expect a man on Conte’s salary not to panic buy.
